Hello...

Is it me you're looking for?? bahaha It has been awhile hasn't it? I am feeling this nudge to write. I think it may be the need to get my thoughts out, either way. Here I am again! Life happens you know? Since the last post about Grandpa Great's funeral, we have experienced more heartache as a family, but we have also created awesome memories together. We have mourned the loss of family members and excitedly welcomed new babies into the clan. We have rallied around family members experiencing hard trials that are inevitable, and we have found joy in this thing we call life. I know that we can only come to know true happiness and joy in this life if we live, and taste the hardships this life has to offer as well. To those family members who are fighting the uphill battle, know that you have family around you who love you and want nothing more than for you to find peace, good health, and happiness. As for the St. George Mogle's, we are truckin' along, just like you. Paul stays busy with work and church callings. I am finishing up my first year teaching kindergarten, and the kids are living the dream! We have sports, friends, school, video games, and work! Grandpa Bauer

Our Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Great-Great Grandpa, Uncle, Brother, and Friend passed away
August 22, 2013. Grandpa was 92 years old. He was living up in Salt Lake at a retirement home. He was so loved by his family, friends, and the Legacy home staff that took such great care of him.
We had his funeral August 24, 2013 at the Moapa Valley Funeral Home. He was laid to rest next to his sweet Ethel.  It was such a beautiful service. All four of his children spoke of what a great father he was and what a wonderful life he lived. He truly left a legacy here.

He was the rock of our family. He was always so positive and happy about life. He will be missed and forever remembered here on earth by so many people who loved him.

We will miss you and remember you til we meet again sweet Grandpa Bauer.

Grandpa has moved

Grandpa Bauer has moved!

That's right. He is now living in an independent living retirement home in South Jordan. He has his own apartment and is doing great and adjusting to his new life. {just watch out he might be on the look out for a new "rest home momma" for his daughters!}--his words, not mine!

In other news....sorry I haven't been updating the blog with birthdays or anything...I have been soaking up every minute I can with my kids this summer....both boys are going to preschool {which starts in 2 weeks} and so I am trying my very best to have lots of fun with them. But happy birthday to those who are celebrating this summer!!

A great great grandbaby

Lindsey and Matt welcomed Sawyer Wade Wilkins into the world on Wednesday July 20th!!!

A great big congratulations to Lindsey, Matt, and Grandma Stacey and Papa Frank!!!
Auntie Sharon is a great grandma!

And Grandpa Great is now a Grandpa Great Great....or great great grandpa....whatever!

June is here and its time for birthdays!

In family news, Ericka just had surgery on her left knee. Nothing major, she had to have it scoped. It has been giving her trouble for probably the last 10 years and she has had enough. Surgery was quick and she was only in the hospital for a few hours! Momma Finn took charge of her kids for the day. I have talked to her a few times and she seems to be doing great...a little pain is all! Keep her in your prayers...a speedy recovery would be awesome for a her and her busy little family! :)
