April is here and the weather is perfect! I love the sunny days and cool nights of spring. Last night my boys, all three of them, slept out in the backyard in a tent. Sweet. No girls were allowed but that's ok with me. Samantha and I snuggled up in our king size bed.
As far as family news goes...Crystal is home safe and sound. Her mom and dad are hopefully enjoying the short time they get to spend with her before she moves out! I got to talk with her on the phone for a few minutes after she got home and she sounded great! Cindy had to monitor her phone calls....people {boys} were calling for Crystal at 9 o'clock in the morning. We all know what a sweetie Crystal is so I am not surprised people wanted to talk to her and hear all about her mission. Rumor has it, Crystal wasn't allowed any phone calls for a whole day so that Cindy could get in some mother-daughter time with her! I don't blame you Cindy!!
In other news, Grandpa is in Salt Lake staying with Russ and Janiel. He was a little reluctant to go and couldn't believe that he actually agreed to going up there to stay for a bit. I haven't talked to him but I am sure Russ and Janiel are taking great care of him. I told him before he left that a little bit of "cooler" air might be good for him. He didn't think I was too funny. My mom told him a lot of people might be very excited to see him and might even cry because they would be so happy. His response: "oh, tears of joy huh?" Yep, Grandpa tears of joy, all for you!
I'll be honest, I miss Grandpa down here. I am taking care of the mail, newspapers, and watering the plants and it's just not as fun taking my boys over to Grandpa Grapes house when he's not even there! Oh, well. Hopefully he is doing well and enjoying his time with Russ.
We are blessing Samantha next Sunday (April 10th) here in St. George. What's that? You want to come? Oh, ok! Our ward meets at 9:00 am and we would love to see you there! And if you make the trip down here I will feed you lunch/brunch afterward, here at my house! I am so excited to get her dressed up all pretty in her dress....I'm just hoping it still fits by next weekend. She is growing like a weed!

Stephen and Gregory will party hard together on the 19th and 20th
Sharon and Paul will celebrate on the 26th

Welcome Home Crystal! We are so glad you are home safe and sound. Thanks for being such a great example to all of us. I have loved reading about your mission on your blog.
And thank you to Russ and Janiel for being in the position to take our Dad/Grandpa. This has been a hard time for him. He truly misses his Nellie and so I think that having all his kids around has really helped him get on with his life.
Russ told me that we are all welcome to come a visit Dad/Grandpa any time just call and let them know when your coming.
